They're known as the twins in the twin-cams - brothers Neal and Rick Bates are the hotshot drivers of Toyota Team Racing.
Neal's an old hand behind the wheel - he's been competing for almost 20 years - including road races like Bathurst. But the rough and tumble of rally racing is his first love.
These are definitely not your average Corollas. The bodywork, dashboard and steering column are the same.. but these Sportivos are fitted with specialised engines and suspension.. and of course, reinforced roll bars for safety.
Time to get speed, I can't believe he's trusting me to navigate.

Apparently, a road racing track has about ten corners.. but a rally circuit can have thousands. And when you're approaching one at 200 kms an hour, you want to know what's coming next!

After all that excitement.. a peaceful drive in the countryside will never feel quite the same again…
Well my Corolla might not be as fast as rally cars but lit is certainly a lot more comfortable.
