Show Outline

Macquarie and Marlin – from a 41 cm Whiting in Lake Macquarie to a Marlin over 90 kg off Port Stephens, the NSW central coast provides boatloads of action this week. And to take the last show of this series out with a real bang, we pack in New Zealand Snapper and Ningaloo GT action as well!
Guesty goes out with a BCF mate aboard game charter boat Onsite and gets him onto his first ever Marlin. The boys follow that up with a 90 kg plus challenge for Guesty – and an even bigger challenge for cameraman Clint Hempsall in the form of two huge Ocean Whaler sharks!
ET and Guesty take last year’s prize winners out on Lake Macquarie for the Pirtek Fishing Challenge. As well as doing their bit to help fight Prostate Cancer, the crew boat a stack of Bream, the odd Flounder, and a personal best 41 cm Whiting for one of the boys.
ET goes kayak fishing for Kiwi Snapper and Guesty gets another Ningaloo GT.
It’s a fishing bonanza, backed up by some solid science and great hope for the future in an interview with Fisheries Research and Development boss Dr Patrick Hone. There are plenty of practical boating tips, Bart Beek sears Scallops in Broome, Guesty looks fetching in leathers, and for the end of the series even Toby gets wet with some water crossings!

Series 13 :: Episode 13

The west is the focus for our adventures this week and it’s definitely wild! Guesty goes fishing in the waters of Western Australia’s Ningaloo Reef with BCF competition winner Stuart and a mate, staying in the wild bush luxury of the Sal Salis safari camp right on the dunes of Cape Range National Park. They get into GTs, Cobia, Sailfish, Mahi Mahi and Tuna by the ton – a first on every front for Stuart and his mate Paul, who are trout fishermen from Victoria! Meanwhile ET’s at sea with Dhufish researchers from WA Fisheries and he also looks in on the Club Marine Mandurah Boat Show. Bart Beek’s also in WA, cooking on the beautiful Broome seafront, and Toby’s doing his own form of sand groping.
