Show Outline

SYDNEY

It’s the last show of the series and a home run for ET, as he takes us on an action-packed tour of some of Sydney’s hottest fishing spots. First up is the legendary Kingfish action off the northern beaches, via jigging for live Squid baits close in to the rocks around the heads. But before ET, Guesty and local Kingfish catcher Michael Bonicci even get out of the harbour, they’re diverted by an amazing encounter – a Black Marlin, inside the heads and right on the track of the Manly ferry!

Fired with visions of filming a billfish fight with the Centrepoint Tower in the background, the boys hurriedly get baits and lures into the water and start the most bizarre marlin hunt of their lives. But what are the odds against such an extraordinary success? Leaving the harbour empty handed but elated, they settle for some spectacular Kingfish battles in the ocean off Long Reef.

The tour continues to Botany Bay, where ET and Guesty target Flathead but instead find themselves in the middle of a Tailor feeding frenzy right under the Mascot flight path. ET then really goes home when he takes his daughters Bream fishing down Cronulla way.

SOUTH WEST ROCKS ET and Guesty take the show’s new Quintrex Trident offshore boat to South West Rocks in search of the young Black Marlin the season’s first warm water should bring in. And off this beautiful spot with its north facing bay, halfway between Port Macquarie and Coffs Harbour, they find enough bill fishing action to have them hooting.
